The MG factory built no more than 40 'F2' two-seaters after the 'J2' Midget was introduced in 1932, with the same body style. The 'F2's shared the mechanical improvements of the 'F3' (e.g. the 12" brakes and the extra cooling pipe from the radiator). N.B. Many replicas have since been anachronistically made by converting earlier cars - some have even been falsely claimed to be genuine!
